Our Legacy: Crafting Legal Excellence Since 1939
Hawley and Rodgers was established by John Rodgers and James Killer Hawley in 1939. The firm began in Loughborough with offices above Lloyds Bank later moving to our current location on Granby Street, opposite the Queens Park.
The legacy continued with John Rodgers son, David, joining the practice in 1961. David became a partner and well regarded head of our conveyancing department for many years. Today, he is a non-practising consultant and still comes into the office most days providing us with continued support.
Expanding Horizons: Nottingham and Beyond
Our Nottingham office opened on Exchange Walk in the late 1960s, eventually moving to its current office in Albion House, Canal Street in July 2011, which is advantageously positioned near the Nottingham courts.
In 2009 we extended our presence in the East Midlands, opening an office to provide local services at Bingham with permanent staff joining in January 2014. The purchase of Thomas Solicitors in August 2013, with its existing office in Long Eaton, saw further growth. Soon after, in May 2014, we acquired Constantinou Solicitors and were delighted to continue a legal presence in Stapleford.
