Meet the Team

Alison completed her law degree and masters degree in Agricultural Law at De Montfort University. She has been a lawyer for over 25 years mainly working in family/matrimonial law. She also spent time working in civil litigation dealing with contract disputes, property disputes, personal injury and employment law which has helped give her a better understanding of representing clients in family matters.

Alison works in our Loughborough office. With her wealth of knowledge, she offers sensitive but honest advice on all aspects of family law from relationship breakdowns to resolving client’s financial settlements, including cohabitation disputes, and arrangements for their children. She also advises clients at the start of a relationship to protect their assets providing carefully drafted pre/postnuptial agreements, cohabitation agreements and declarations of trust.

Alison is an accredited specialist with Resolution.  This means that she promotes dealing with relationship issues in an amicable and non-confrontational way but still aiming to get the best possible result for you.

In her spare time, Alison enjoys walking and bird watching, reading especially history and murder mysteries, and visiting historical places.
