Meet the Team

Julia joined Hawley and Rodgers in October 2022 as a Chartered Legal Executive and works predominantly within the Care Team. She has over 13 years’ experience of childcare work having previously worked as a paralegal within several law firms around the East Midlands.

Julia completed her Law Degree with Honours at the University of Reading in 2009.

She specialises in representing parents and extended family members in all aspects of childcare law including:

• Care and Supervision Orders
• Placement Orders and Adoption
• Discharge of Care Orders and contact with a child in Care
• Special Guardianship Orders
• Pre-proceedings advice – where Social Services are holding a Child Protection Conference or Pre-proceedings Meeting.
• Voluntary section 20 agreements in relation to the Children Act 1989

Julia enjoys cycling, walking, gardening, and baking in her spare time.
